What this site is

A collection of free Canadian personal-finance calculators and explanatory content. Each calculator is an estimate based on publicly available Canada Revenue Agency, provincial government, and Bank of Canada data, with the source URL and last-verified date displayed on every tool page.

What this site is not

• It is not a substitute for a Chartered Professional Accountant (CPA), financial advisor, mortgage broker, or lawyer.
• It is not personalized advice. The calculators do not know your full financial picture and cannot account for every relevant factor.
• It is not a tax filing tool. We do not prepare or submit returns.
• It is not affiliated with the Canada Revenue Agency, the Government of Canada, or any provincial finance ministry.

Accuracy and limitations

We work hard to keep our calculators accurate and to update them on a published schedule (see the methodology page), but we cannot guarantee that every value is current to the minute or that every edge case is handled. Each tool page lists its known limitations. If you spot an error, please report it: see the contact page for our correction procedure.

No liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, the operators of this site are not liable for any loss, damage, tax penalty, missed opportunity, or other consequence that results from your reliance on a calculator output or any content on this site. The disclaimer on every tool page repeats this in plain language: results are estimates, not advice; if money is at stake, consult a qualified professional before acting.

Use of content

The text and original analysis on this site are copyright their respective authors. You may quote, link, and reference our pages with attribution. You may not republish full articles or calculator code without permission. Our embed widget program (once launched) provides a licensed way to include our calculators on third-party sites.

Material changes to these terms will be announced on the home page for at least 30 days before they take effect. The "last updated" date below is the canonical version marker.
